Footwear For Fall: Stiletto Boots
When summertime rolls to an end, we tend to get lost in the typical voids of fashion footwear. The usual sandals and peep toe slides are still present, not to mention the lingering raggedy flats and flip flops. So when fall pulls through, we best get back into fashion mode and conjure up some hot kicks for autumn!
Step into a pair of classic stiletto boots! Let’s face it, the weather is still holding enough to sport a short skirt comfortably but when dusk rolls around things are bound to get chilly. By selecting just the right pair of boots we retain the hotness of our best summer wares, without the associated discomfort the cool autumn air is bound to bring. Some classic examples of stiletto boots feature sexy buckles, as well as elaborate lacework and stitching. For maximum comfort I wouldn’t recommend exceeding a 4-5″ heel. If additional height is required, seek a platform boot to provide better comfort.
To make the most of this fabulous footwear phenomenon, I’d recommend choosing an ankle boot with a longer skirt or a Knee High boot with a shorter skirt. This will set off the stiletto boots with class, and prevent them from looking too slutty. For fall, darker is better. Try black or Brown Boots with dusty patterned skirts in autumn colors. The deep greens, reds, greys, and browns will allow the dark stiletto boots to sex up your feet!
